Good Sleep
Your weekend away includes two full nights of comfortable (just like home) lodging.  Your get away also includes bath towels and linens to make packing even more convenient. 
 
Guests will always have thier own bed when staying with us (unless a private Queen room is reserved).

The retreat can accomodate eight guests for a weekend. Private bookings for groups of 10 can be accomodated on an individual basis.

Under no circumstances will our guests sleep on air mattresses, roll-aways, or hide-a-beds.

The next most important thing to most of us is the food.  So what good stuff awaits your get away weekend?


FRIDAY

Hostess Welcome Party, Dinner and late night Dessert.

At 5:00 p.m. You will enjoy a Hostess welcome party.  This is an  hour of wine and cheese.  What a better way to relax, unpack and settle in for a wonderful creative weekend.  You can enjoy your glass of wine out on one of the decks and take in the fresh Michigan air.  The view of the lake is beautiful and you will  see wildlife about.  A mallard family is often taking a bath at our beach.

 

SATURDAY 

Three full meals (plus!) are provided. Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Appetizers, Dinner and late night Dessert. 

 

SUNDAY

Brunch and continued snacks until your departure.

 

ALL WEEKEND LONG

Endless snacks throughout the day!  We have both salty and sweet snacks to keep up with your changing cravings throughout the day.  In the evening we have buttered popcorn in case you want a break to enjoy a chick flick.  There are selections to pop into the DVD or Video player from the library. If you've got a special favorite, bring it along!  Marathon weekends of Sex in the City have been just a few group favorites.  We also encourage you to raid the cookie jar if the candy and snacks aren't enough to keep you full in between all the meals being served.  We want to make sure you get plenty to eat!


Good Hydration

We have several types of soda pop available. If you like something very specific such as, Diet Coke - Caffeine Free please let the hostess know when booking and special arrangements may be possible.

We have decaf and regular coffee at breakfast.  We are more than happy to keep the pot brewing all day for those that thrive on their java.  A special little touch is our selection of Gourmet hot chocolates and instant Cappuccino (lots of yummy flavors).  Yes, we do have whip cream to top it off.  Remember...you're being pampered on your getaway.

We also have a purified water dispenser, various juices and iced tea. 

We also want you to feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverages if you'd like such during your weekend.  Wine is only served during the hostess welcome hour.

What You Don't Have to Bring
Bed linens and pillows are in each room.  We have extra blankets in the closets just in case.  No need to haul up your bedding 'cuz this isn't what you need to worry about - your scrap stuff is!

Bath necessities to keep you comfortable: We have 3 full sized bathrooms.  Bath towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body gel  are in all the bathrooms for your use.  We even supply the little stuff like Q-tips and cotton balls.  Hair dryer is also available for use.

 

We have a 4' double door stand up shower, full size shower/tub combo and another large shower/jet tub combo for those wanting to soak it up.  These 3 bathrooms allow more than enough space for 8-10 girls to spread out.  Sharing is not cramped by any means. The upstairs bath also has double sink vanity for even more extra space.

 

Other little amenities that are provided for your convenience.

If so inclined, your retreat also has an ironing board, hand iron, full sized washer & dryer and laundry soap is provided as well.  We do hope your hubby has a "honey-do" list and is taking care of these matters while you are off with the girls.  We really do not want you to use these amenities and we want you to relax!

Oh wait, if you really want to see how much an M&M weighs after you eat it . . . . . . we also have a scale!
